Meat Tenderizer: A ready made Tenderizer Powder is available in Grocery shop. But I
prefer to use home made Tenderizer. In India the most commonly use Tenderizer is Raw Papaya. We can use the green skin (which contains an enzyme called Papain) as well as the white part to make it a paste and mix this paste with the meat. It will help to break the connective tissues in the meat. This is used only for the Red Meat (Lamb,Mutton,Goat, Beaf etc) and for Chicken,Duck and Sea Foods(Prawn, Scallops etc) you can use Yogurt as a tenderizer.
